The 83 year old owner of this bike purchased it from his brother nearly 45 years ago and he and his wife toured extensively on it in their younger years. His brother had imported it from a US dealer who informed him that only three of this model with its Bavarian Cream colour were imported to the US back then. This unrestored, original example has just over 70,000 miles on it, and as such has some patina and imperfections but it has been garaged and well cared for its entire life. The engine had an overhaul about 25 years ago, the transmission was rebuilt about 3 years ago, and the tires and brakes were replaced last year. It comes with the hard paniers and windshield as show, a full set of tools, a hand pump, shop manual, assorted parts and even a BMW rag. It is currently registered in BC on a collector plate. The bike is in Nanaimo, BC and is offered at $11,000.
