This amazing handbuilt “Merlin Speedster” is truly a one-of-a-kind special, and a real crowd pleaser. Utilizing components from 25 different vehicles, the Ford Model A chassis features 1948 Ford hydraulic brakes, a Chevy S10 differential, a peppy 4.2 litre Jaguar twin overhead cam engine with dual Stromberg carbs, a recently rebuilt Jaguar 3 speed automatic transmission, and 12 volt wiring. The grill is from a 1931 Pontiac, it has a 1913 spotlight and a 1913 manual ahuuga horn. The aluminum body work was all hand formed, as was the clever, matching removable hardtop (not shown), and it also comes with a tonneau cover. The car has been BC safety inspected and is registered in BC as a 2009 UBuilt. The owner guesses the build time to be 600 + hours, and the mileage since built to be less than 1000 miles. The car is located in Qualicum Beach, BC and is offered at $11,000.
