Panther West Winds of Byfleet, Surrey, UK produced high end vintage looking cars in very limited numbers based on modern car platforms. They had a reputation for exciting cars with exceptional build quality. The lines of the Lima models fibreglass body are not unlike their contemporaries, the Morgan +8 and Caterham 7. The Lima model features a 2279 cc, 178 HP, 4 cylinder Vauxhaul turbo engine with 4 speed manual transmission. Its super light weight means it will do 0 to 60 mph in 6 seconds and it has a top speed of 125 mph. Only 897 of these cars were hand built between 1976 and 1982, and this is one of only two that were imported to Western Canada. Parts are available through GM. The car currently has 34,800 km on the clock and is all original, including the paint. It currently has BC Collector plates and included in the sale are a pair of Spax air shocks.
